Models

Lists every chat, image, video and music model with its price, its limits and what it can do.

The list is public, so it needs no key, and a key sent with it must be valid. GET /models/{id} returns one entry in the same shape.

A chat model

The model ID you send as model.

The longest conversation the model takes, in tokens.

available, paused while its price can't be held, or busy while it rests after failing at its host.

Whether it takes tools, a forced tool choice, sampling settings and web search.

list_priceobject

The maker's own price, the page it was read from, the date it was read and the saving in percent, rounded down. It is left out when no maker price has been verified.

A media model

A media model's pricing has a unit of image, second or song and a unit_usd, its limits list max_images, durations, aspect_ratios and max_prompt_chars where they apply, and its list_price, when there is one, has a unit_usd and a single saving_pct.

Errors

401authentication_errorA key was sent and isn't valid, so send none to read the public list

404not_found_error/models/{id} names no model

429rate_limit_errorToo many reads from the key, so wait for retry-after
